The comedy of the brilliant German author, who died young in the first half of the 19th century, with its fresh, free, playful tone excelled in the literature of the Romanticism-Biedermeier age and became a piece regularly performed on the world's stages until today. The play deals with the basic problems of individual and social existence in a tale-like, seemingly facile form: who are we, why and how should we live, whether we have to give up our freedom to integrate into society, do we have to give up love for the family life, and the independence of our thinking to become useful members of society?

The piece takes place in the realm between reality and dream, our most inner self-, and the roles we play in the world, fate and free will. It is performed by the company of Krétakör in a space and means reduced to minimum, playing in direct proximity of the audience.
